Eden and Roslyn, SD

Can you believe it’s been a whole month since the action forum!  What a great evening and great turnout.  We had close to 100 people attend.  The community voted on 15 different action ideas they would like to see happen in the community and this was what they decided:

 Action Ideas

1. Fire Halls-improvements(noise reduction)
2. Visitation
   1. Welcome/hospitality baskets
   2. Information resource lists
   3. Care packages
   4. Winter check in/meal delivery
3. Farmers’ Market/Community Gardens
4. Recycle drop off points/City wide clean up

Each idea has a committee working hard to see these projects through and the other ideas will surface again during the Horizons project.  Some of the action ideas are long-term projects and will take some time to develop, but some are materializing as I write this blog.  Good work committees!  Want to join and help out?  Just ask and we’ll point you in the right direction.
